FALL 2025 CAMP: Rooted & Rising
Parent & Caregiver Workshops
While youth are in their structured classrooms, parents and caregivers participate in culturally-centered workshops designed to deepen understanding, strengthen parenting tools, and build community. These sessions blend expert-led learning, shared experiences, and supportive dialogue to help caregivers confidently raise Black fostered and adopted youth. Families leave feeling informed, connected, and empowered.
Structured Youth Classrooms
Youth participate in structured, age-based classrooms that foster cultural identity, joy, and confidence. Through hands-on activities, African and African-American cultural learning, creative expression, and group connection, youth explore what it means to be rooted in heritage while rising into their future self.
