Crew Lead applications are open to adults 18+ who are looking to help out and make a difference in the community.

UMOJA MN Crew -Leads or assists the classroom by teaching the curriculum, facilitating activities, managing camper needs, and classroom management.

About UMOJA MN Black Heritage Camp

This camp will focus on Black Heritage, growth, cultural storytelling, goal setting, affirmations, and personal stories. Our comprehensive camp weekend experiences feature tailored programming for children and adults, including cultural celebrations and practical guidance on skin and hair care. UMOJA MN is a valuable resource for Black youth who have been adopted, fostered, or are in kinship care, as well as their families in Minnesota.

Compensation

There is a stipend of $300 for all Crew members for the event. New Crew members will receive a $100 stipend for attending the "New Crew Lead Orientation."

Once you submit this application, your application will be reviewed, and we will reach out for a screening call. Crew Leads will be contracted by UMOJA MN & EVOLVE Family Services.
