Every June, we head up north for our favorite family tradition: a scenic group bike ride weekend. Everyone joins in, from aunts and uncles to cousins and the little kids. We spend our days biking through beautiful trails and our evenings enjoying s'mores, swimming at the cabin, and sharing stories around the fire. It's simple, filled with laughter, and it's something we look forward to all year long.

A perfect lazy Sunday starts with coffee and a homemade breakfast of pancakes or bacon and eggs while soft vinyl spins on the stereo. We stay in our pajamas longer than we probably should, then head to the local dog park with Mocha. Back at home, we spend the rest of the day curled up under blankets with a good book, a board game, or simply enjoying each other's company.

It's the little things: the sound of laughter, the aroma of fresh coffee in the morning, artwork on the walls from our travels, and the quiet hum of Mocha snoring in a sunny spot. More than anything, it's our open-door philosophy. Friends and family always know they're welcome, whether they stop by for an evening or just a quick cup of coffee.

Taco Tuesday is a favorite in our house! One of us handles the grilling while the other is in charge of guacamole, and somehow it always turns into a friendly competition over who can create the most inventive topping combination. It's less about the food and more about the laughter and time we spend together in the kitchen.

We love spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking local trails, tending our backyard garden, or exploring farmers' markets on the weekends. We also enjoy hosting relaxed game nights with close friends and family. Traveling is another big passion of ours. We love experiencing different cultures and learning from the people we meet. We recently returned from an incredible adventure in South Korea and are already excitedly planning our next trip to Argentina.

We want you to know that your child will be surrounded by unconditional love, encouragement, and support every single day. Our home is filled with laughter, curiosity, kindness, and a genuine appreciation for the world around us. We also hold deep respect for you and your story, and we promise to honor that story openly and lovingly throughout your child's life. Mocha, our beloved French Bulldog, would probably say: "These two are complete pushovers for my puppy-dog eyes. They give world-class belly rubs, endless cuddles, and yes, I absolutely deserve a bite of whatever you're cooking!"

Empathy and resilience. Our parents taught us to listen with compassion, treat others with kindness, and approach challenges with grace. They showed us that even when life doesn't go as planned, there's always something to learn, appreciate, and grow from.

We try to celebrate both the big milestones and the small everyday moments. Whether it's sharing highlights from our day over dinner, thanking one another for the little things, or taking time to reflect on experiences we've been fortunate to have, gratitude is woven into our daily lives. It helps us stay grounded and reminds us not to take one another for granted.

Although we've been fortunate enough to travel all over the world, the most beautiful place to us is still our own backyard. It's our sanctuary, where we gather with friends, unwind after busy days, and watch the seasons change. It's where some of our happiest memories have been made, and where we hope to create many more as our family grows.
